Our brewery is located in our iconic building on Mainburger Street in Freising, Bavaria. In 1912, celebrated brew-engineering Professor Theodor Ganzenmüller transformed his Art Nouveau vision into reality, combining architectural beauty with the most advanced brewing technology of the time. On October 12th 1912, the first beer was brewed at the current Hofbrauhaus Freising site, marking the start of a tradition that continues today.

Helga Bildhauer combines organizational expertise with a clear understanding of our brewery's values and long-standing tradition. She serves as a dependable bridge between our customers' needs and the operational processes of our craft, ensuring that we remain a reliable, flexible, and strong partner for our clients. She has been supporting our Hofbrauhaus competently and conscientiously in various roles since 1995.

Oliver Lentz

Oliver Lentz has been leading the operations of Gräfliches Hofbrauhaus Freising since 2024. With him, our brewery is guided by an absolute industry expert who previously served as CEO of König Ludwig Schlossbrauerei for 12 years. However, his connection to our brewery goes back much further than his official tenure: as a young apprentice hotel manager, our Moy Bier became his absolute favorite. Today, he combines this personal passion with uncompromising professionalism and creativity.

Arno Jacobi has been pouring his passion into his role as First Brewmaster at our brewery since 1990. He defines himself by his artisanal precision and uncompromising dedication to the quality of our beers. Day in and day out, he ensures that every single batch meets the highest standards and expectations. He feels a deep, personal connection to every drop that leaves our house, and together with his team, he brings this profound sense of responsibility to life every single day. In doing so, he leaves a lasting mark on the brewery's character and safeguards its reputation for brewing excellence.
